Today we need to make a cool or warm colored card depending on our temperature. It is currently 7 degrees in Waterford, WI and thankfully I don't need to even poke my nose out today. The dog doesn't even want out.
I grew up in a house with this kind of window. Oh the pretty pictures we always found on cold mornings. They were always on the inside too. Right there for us to mess up.
I put my navy CS through the Cuttlebug and then smeared VersaMark on top of it, added some white sparkle embossing Powder and heat set it. I thought the sentiment was perfect as it sure does sparkle. The blue flower is a Fiskars punch and turned up on the table at just the right time. What do you think? Ever see frost like this at your house?

I had forgotten about those frosty icy windows! Brings back such fun childhood memories! We kids used to pick at all that ice; good thing the windows have improved since then; I'm sure the heat bill was astronomical! (I grew up in Massachusetts) Beautiful frosty paper resembling those windows! You did well~

Oh, clever you, Carol! I love the way you've created your frosty window. It doesn't really get cold enough for that here - although rarely the inside of the car window will be frozen. You've been helping Jack Frost out wonderfully with this lovely card.

Carol, it's been a long while since I've seen the frosty windows you speak of but yes, they were beautiful! It appears that Jack Frost has touched your card with his frosty paint brush!

It does look like Jack Frost did your panel, Carol. I used to love to look at the patterns that formed on the windows...apparently our house wasn't very well insulated! : ) Your card really captures that and I love the deep rich colors that you used.

Cool card Carol and I know just the kind of windows you're talking about..my grandma and grandpa had a big old house with windows like that. You are always thinking outside the box..I appreciate that!

Love your card, and yes it does remind me of the frosty windows we would make designs on from our warm fingers. Kinda like how we would lick icicles. Thanks for playing today Carol.
