Hmm, more like a nightmare than a dream, this one. I really made it for MIX51, Speedbumps, but I'm not sure if it really qualifies. I coated the chipboard tag with white acrylic, and then stamped the flourishes with Liquid Pearls which definitely gave me texture and dimension. But then they resisted everything I threw at them, so I don't think I succeeded in camouflaging them as we were meant to. But, since there is at least 3 hours work in this little tag, I'm counting it as an effort!
After the flourishes dried I did so many things I can't even remember them all - I misted with Perfect Pearls Patina, I brushed Perfect Pearls on, I added some metallic acrylic paints, tried some stencilling which looked terrible so it all got wiped off again. Stickles around the edge, silver and blue ribbons, a little silver charm thing and a gem all went on. I added a vellum butterfly inked with purple and then embossed with Iridescent Ice, the body embossed with silver EP.

I think - like the rest of us - you worry too much. Here I was - sitting with my mouth hanging open and staring at the BEAUTY of your card - and I thought I had better read what you wrote. I am so sorry you are disappointed. I sure am not. This is gorgeous and I think well worth all the effort you put into it.

I'm so sorry that your challenge piece was such a challenge, but WOW, it turned out amazing! It's fine if the color didn't camouflage the speed bumps and your layers of colors complement them so nicely. I hope you are coming to like the result even if it didn't come out as you expected. Thanks for playing with the Mix-ability challenge this week.
