This is my card for this weekÂ’s CC462. Karen is our hostess and she chose wild wasabi, blushing bride, and primrose petals . Our dessert is to use a button with a pearl or rhinestone center. I tried using a button on my card , but I couldnÂ’t get it to fit with this image.
My bg was created using stamps from the Waltzingmouse set “candy jar Christmas fillers”. I stamped in primrose petals and wild wasabi. They worked so well with my PI image “ lollypop girl”. This was a gift to me from my awesome friend and teammate Peggy. She knows this card is going right to my sweet Phoenix Daisy.
I paper pieced her dress and colored the image with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. Fussy cut and layered on an MFT “dizzy doily” die cut in primrose petals.
I also added a wild wasabi circle and I used the Cuttlebug “seeing spots” ef. I used this same ef on the middle rectangle panel as well. Layered over that is some blushing bride ribbon.
I cut an arrow with another MFT die and used part of the sentiment from the same MFT “lollypop girl” set.
ThatÂ’s my card for this week. I hope you can play along with us. You may be the next CC fave of the week.
We post each weekÂ’s winner on our CC Pinterest board. Check it out here.

Mary, you set this darling little girl loose in a candy store. Love the BG you created with all the different candies, and especially love the darling little girl you colored so well.
