well first of all, I have to say that it is nice to be able to get back to making cards after my car accident in the middle of December. I am still going to physio therapy 2 to 3 times per week and will need to until sometime in March or so I have been told... I have really missed everyone and have not even been in the galleries very much....
this card is a birthday card for my brother who lives in Calgary and loves to go hunting....I really love the site you chose for today...I chose these colours for my card although I did add chocolate chip at the end for the deer (oops sorry) ..I brayered the top part of the card using post it notes for the mountains, then I sponged in the grass colours... stamped the trees adding white gel pen on the one side, also used pitt artist pen to fill in lower part of trunk....I also made this card for Wednesdays SC 471 as I really liked the layout and I feel it suited this card to a tee....After stamping the doe, I fussy cut her and put her on dimensionals outside the box....
Thanks for taking a peek... Hope you like it....

Alice, I'm so, so sorry to hear you had an accident, I didn't know! I hope you're well and have recovered from the trauma. This is simple gorgeous, I'm a huge fan of sponged/masked scenes and this one is a beauty. Take care of yourself, mf!
