I love the layout and the flourish so kept those elements but changed the colour scheme to green and gold, changed the theme to Christmas, and changed all the stamps.
I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment first, then used a Nesties rectangle to create a mask over it and sponged with Distress ink. Then stamped and heat embossed the flourish in green, restamped it in gold as the central star is part of the flourish - cut out just the gold star and mounted it over the green one with dimensionals. Stamped and cut out more stars and mounted them with dimensionals.
I love Sandie's card design so much that I'm going to try a snowflake version one day.
The SCS Christmas Card Challenge has themes posted for each month. Even though July is a long ways off, I'm putting this in July's thread as the theme is something inspired by July 4th (stars, fireworks, etc.). I have the stars!

Lovely Christmas colours! The stars look great in gold and the swirling green flourish really gives them movement. Very pretty card and a wonderful tribute to Sandie. TFS

LOVE this design. Your sponged background is perfect - love how it fades on the one side. This would also be perfect with snowflakes so looking forward to seeing your next card!

Susan, this is so clever - I would never have thought of a Christmas card - but now .....
Thank you too, for thinking of me during my 'reign', which sadly ends today! I'm feeling so regal it's frightening ... better take off my crown ... Bless you for making this lovely card

Wonderful card Susan! Love the faded rectangle with the sentiment! How great that you start on Christmas already. It's January and I fell behind already.
