I decided to try some of Heather T's wet stamping techniques, something easy or so I thought. How wet is wet is the issue. After four tries I had some success wetting the paper after coloring the stamp with markers and spritzing it. The colors started to bleed a little bit which was enough for me. I heated it with the heat gun to keep it becoming too distorted. I opted to quit while I was ahead and not water color the background but reached for my trusty Air Sick mini brick stencils. The flourish was from the internet which I printed on ink jet acetate and pierced with a Pergamano piercing too, then pierced the card and stitched with a beading needle. Sponged the edges with Memento ink a bit.
Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous card Nancy. Love the technique and will have to add that to my list of things to try (the list is so long!). Love the sponged brick background and the hand stitching! Lots of love has gone into this beautiful card and it shows.
