I finally got some time to myself and the Inspirational Challenge to-day was the perfect creative outlet. What a fabulous site. I was inspired by all the curves and bumps of these candlesticks http://globaltable.com/product_view.php?id=114 . I haven't used this lace folder from SU for a while and the Martha Stewart border punch was the perfect 'go-with'. The flowers are from Nellie Snellen double punches (punching and embossing) and the small flowers are an unknown $tore purchase. The lines are stickers from starform. To-day was a good day to stay inside and create as it is raining and foggy out. I was going to do some housework but my Mother always told me that 'Housework ruins your good looks' and she would never tell a fib!

I am still laughing at the idea housework ruins your looks! You created a wonderful card hiding from the fog - love those flowers (new to me) and your colours are perfect together.

This is so pretty! Love the combination of dies and punches you've used. The sponged edges tie them together so beautifully. I wondered what happened - I thought I'd just growth old - but I guess the cause is my fanatical housekeeping.

Sue, your card is truly lovely. The Kraft and golden yellow make a lovely combination and with the punched borders, embossing and beautiful spray of flowers it is taken to another elegant level.

Oh, Sue, this is so pretty. Btw, your Mother is correct. I have a little wooden doll I picked up at a craft show years ago. She looks quite a mess, with a sign on her that says "housework makes me ugly" LOL.
Love your card :-)

This is gorgeous! I love the earthy colors and all the embossing is just fabulous! You better believe I'll stay away from housework, lol. Not just because your mother said so, but that's a good reason
