The Timeless Tuesday challenge this week is create a shaped card. I adore making shaped cards as some of you know so this challenge was awesome! Now I did do a little different with this one than normal and I am not sure I am all for it yet? Usually I use the full die as the framed shape and add card stock to the back. Well this time the die was layed down above the fold and cut just to spice it up a bit. ha! My Iris from Flowers for Jan is stamped onto Classic White card stock using Memento tuxedo black ink. Colored with copic collections buttercup, crocus, lilac, pistachio and new fields. My image panel is layered onto Color Made Easy Crocus card stock and Sunflower for another base layer. The thank you sentiment is from Botanical Bookplates Vol 2 stamp set that is punched out with a circle punch. Before I added my image panel layer to the base I added a double layer of the white cotton crochet lace trim and a center layer of the Color Made Easy Sunflower Antique Gold ribbon tied into a bow with a wooden button and some jute twine. The sparkly corner accents are a fun embelishment that I actually dusted off at the first of the year called Candi Voila!

GORGEOUS!!! I'm a huge fan of Marcella Hawley's floral stamps and Flourishes, and you've created a beautiful card. Purple is my favorite color, like the yellow touches too. I have just ordered this new set, it is a lovely tribute to Flourishes leader, Jan Marie.
