Congratulations to our Queen for the Day this week, StamperSandie. I enjoyed looking through Sandie's gallery and settled on this card in her honor. I kept the layout, colors and theme, but made a few changes:
* Different stamps
* Moved the brads to the corner
* Added a cloud
These images are from a new set from Mark's Finest Papers called Umbrellas and Fans.
The Free4All challenge is to make and send a card to someone in particular. I'm sending this card to my sister, who lives in Illinois -- and could use some "fine weather."

Dear Lois, as I walked through the gallery, I knew instantly that this was for me! What a gorgeous parasol - I had one like this when I lived in Singapore, so your card is extra special today. Thank you - I know your sister will love it.

So very well done Lois! You have such a great eye for detail! I can see both your card and Sandie's card are similar, yet still different! Love your coloring on that lovely Japanese umbrella and the addition of the cloud too!!! Let's all hope winter is saying goodbye soon!
