Here is my project for this week's WTUI challenge to use what is totally surrounding me - cold, snow, and whiteness. I am working on my mixed media techniques, as well, so here's another baby step in my resolution to share my photos more and eventually make mixed media home decor pieces with them.
This was such a funny night that I had to make a special frame for it. This will sit on my desk in my new cube where I can see it all the time. The next photo has a close-up of the snowflakes stamped into the gesso that covered the frame.

Bummer - I decided to use an Amazon uk voucher to get a hot glue gun that works instead of gelatos, and now I see BOTH your projects I'm wishing I'd gone the other way. So much for being practical!!! This is a gorgeous frame for your sweet photo. I love the texture in it with the blues and whites and the brushstroke quality that reminds me of Basic Grey paper, and the slight hint of snow in the corner.
The piece of grungeboard - I'd frame it, and then add a really dimensional layered diecut snowflake, preferably with UTEE and glitter.
