I just received an email this morning that advised that Charlene Merrick (LilLuvsStampin) had passed away on Jan. 2nd. I got to know Charlene a bit when the Teapotters had a "party" for her husband Terry, who was (and still is) awaiting a kidney transplant. I enjoyed occasionally exchanging pm's and getting to know her. In our last correspondence, she said they were both taking it one day at a time. In the midst of taking care of her husband and being his "rock," she had been diagnosed with brain cancer. Her attitude was very optimistic and she "knew" with treatment, prayer and faith, that she would overcome it. As we all hoped she would. For those of us who believe that God has a "plan" for each of us and that when it is our time to return to Him, as Charlene did and I do, we have no earthly power or means to change it. Though she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the SC community, I pray she is at Peace. I send her love, joy and huggles. xx
I cased this card of Charlene's to honor her memory.
I will be sending this card to her husband, Terry.

Yes, when God calls in His perfect timing, tho' we may not understand it, there is only but to obey. Charlene added a lot to this site and the friends she made and encouraged here and many of us carry a tiny part of her in our comment sections. Praying that Terry will know His peace as he misses and mourns his dear partner. Lovely card and sentiment.

This is a beautiful card for Terry in honor of Charlene. We will surely miss her. I know death wasn't part of Charlene's plan, but we have no control over God's plan for us. He knows the number of hairs on our heads just as He knows the number of days we have. She is at peace now.

You are so thoughtful Gabby, this is a beautiful card in honour of Charlene. As a recipient of your PM's too, I am sure you provided lots of laughs, smiles and warmth to Charlene.

Please don't take your organs to heaven - heaven knows we need them here.
So pretty. A very peaceful card. I'm sure she would have liked it very much. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I didn't know her, but I recognize her picture and username. She was a very creative lady and I am sure will be missed.
