My only new year resolution was to do 2 new things a week. So here is one new thing. I have always enjoyed seeing what everyone else created for challenges, but I never entered one. This layout was very challenging for me since I never seem to use circles - they just never seem to fit my cards. So I dusted off my spellbinder dies and gave it a try. I glued a small piece of black dot paper in the upper corner then glued a piece of pink print paper onto the back corner of my blue background paper. Distressed the edges, sponged with azure ink, bent the corner back to expose the pink and glued blue background to white card. Printed out the bird and flowers onto cardstock and colored with copics. Cut the flower only that the bird is holding, leaving the stem and bottom edge still attached. When placing the circle die cut lift the flower on top of the die so it does not get cut off. Layered the three circles, popped the three flowers up with pop dots and added twine and bling. This is a cheerful birthday card for my sister who hates getting older.

The wonderful bright colors you've used on your card are sure to bring a smile to your sisters face. They're just happy! The bird is adorable and I think you did a great job incorporating a circle into your project. :-)
