Since I don't have a work room and it is a bother to get the stamps, ink, etc out of the back of the coat closet, I usually make 2 versions of each card. I brayered ballet blue half way down the 3 x 4 3/4 piece of white cardstock first from the top, and then up from the bottom. Did the same thing with tempting turquoise, but didn't cover all of the blue. Used a post it note to cover the bottom half and brayered yellow across the middle. Flipped the post it to cover the top half and brayered with yellow. Tore the post it in a rolling hill shape and sponged old olive from the middle down to the bottom. Used the thing a ma jig to position the cabin stamp and stamped with memento black ink. Stamped pine trees along the bottom. Highlighted trees and cabin roof with white gel pen. Sponged the edges with black ink and layered onto black then stripe cardstock. Dry embossed the teal cardstock and sponged the edges with black. Added the twine and black beads.

Oh, how absolutely gorgeous! I just love your artwork, and it is that! I am in awe at this scene you've created with such depth! It looks like it's been painted! And the embossed background adds such wonderful texture! Gorgeous! Warm hugs!

Oh my goodness gracious me, what a gallery you have. Your colouring is out of this world and I love all the colours you use to such a dramatic effect. Your layouts are all wonderful too. Thank you so much for commenting on my card as it led me to your incredible gallery. TFS
