I've taken a little respite from all aspects of SCS, trying to get chores of the holidays taken care of. Though I still made and sent cards for the Teapot challenges, I didn't even photograph them. Can't there be more time in the day?! The holidays are for the most part over, and I've gotten most of the chores done (there's still a few Thank you cards to be made).
This week our theme is all about making resolutions for something we need to accomplish. I don't need to exercise, I already do that, I quit the nasty habit of smoking years ago, I rarely drink alcohol (she says that while drinking a celebratory Cosmo). I AM NOT GIVING UP MY CHOCOLATE, no way, no how! Same goes for my 2 cups of coffee a day. So what else is there, really nothing. My only other addiction is crafts, and I'm not doing the twelve steps for that either. A girl's gotta have at least one vice!
So, this card is all about fun! I mean, look at it this way, there's an orange slice in the drink, so it's healthy, right? Yeah, yeah, that's a stretch, so what?
I've enlarged this Erica Fortgens pattern to 110 %. This make it a lot easier for piercing those tiny holes (I have old eyes). The beads in the glasses, those are supposed to be bubbles.
This card will be heading off to Tickle a fellow Teapotter!
Happy New Year to each and every one of you!!

Love the simplicity of this. Those orange slices just pop and the beads do look like bubbles. Thanks for joining in the Tickle challenge and I wish you a Happy and healthy New Year!

Cheers Jennifer, I think we were sisters in a former life, although I have a few extra coffees and red wine makes chocolate very healthy!! I love everything about your card, wish we could say cheers in real life my friend.

All that you said is so true---live each day to the fullest as you never know when that day will come no more. Card making is a great vice to haveas doing what you love has good feeling to it. Great card, hmmmm reminds me of last night in celebrating as mnot a constant drinker---usually holidays, so when do drink---I telly hubby I am cheap date as one maybe 2 and I get giddy---which I was last night--in good way. Love the way you enlarged image and bubbles are just the right touch.

Oh, I knew instantly that the beads were bubbles and I thought how perfect they are. 5 glasses of bubbly - definitely too much for me, one is my limit even with a healthy dose of orange, LOL.
And both the teapots are all about the party and enjoying life, so I think you've certainly rocked the challenge. I know anybody will be tickled to get this!!
