I went with a snow globe shape for my little shaker card. And since Beate did the Tutorial for this, it was inspired by THIS. The winter scene was stamped, colored with Copics then stickles added to the snow for sparkle and white dots to the sky for falling snow. While that was drying, I die cut a snow globe out of silver card stock & a larger circle to go with it. I used another size circle to cut a piece of acetate for the front. It is big enough to fit between the smaller and larger silver circles so the edges will be covered. For fun, I die cut a snowy border die out of white then snipped off a bunch of the snowflakes and sandwiched them between the layers.
I traced around the snow globe shape on my folded white card & fussy cut it in the same shape. After cutting the scene into a circle, I elevated the acetate layers, making sure it had silicone sealant all the way around, then added some tiny silver beads and round silver confetti (not too much..I didnít want it cover up the scene) before sealing them together. A silver string and bow were added to the top. So itís a cardÖitís a snow globeÖitís a shaker ornament to hang on the tree!
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the Copics I used are on my blog: The Write Stuff

What a gorgeous ornament/shaker, Julie. A perfect choice for a shaker card :D. I love the ring of snowflakes. It's been a long time since I tried using silicone for a shaker - too impatient to let it dry, LOL.
