Today our own Biggan's blog (Rapport Fran ett Skrivbord) was the Inspiration Challenge today. I was so inspired by her beautiful Stadning post that I made two cards! This is the second card.
I'm giving my minister some faith notecards for Christmas and I needed a few more and Birgits' design worked out wonderfully.
I used Bazzill paper for the texture. I tried to do the curling strips like she did on her card, but it just wasn't working out with the star so I used square piece of woodgrain patterned paper
This cool star is a die from Savvy Dies and scores itself so all you have to do is fold it in and out. I sponged the creases with Old Paper ink and layered it on the card with some stacked thick foam dots to keep the center up high off the card.
I absolutely LOVE Birgit's style and was so happy to take a cruise through her blog today!

This is gorgeous, Julia....I love your three rows of twine and the perfect placement of your pearls....everything about this card blends just perfectly!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
