Gosh this has been a sad week. We lost a wonderful friend very unexpectedly a few days ago and my aunt passed away last night. I was going to make my apologies and not come to this weeks teapary, but then I read the story and felt so bad for MaryÂ’s friend, Virginia. I remember the heart ache at loosing my older brother, I cannot begin to imagine the pain at loosing two brothers in a week.
It didn’t seem appropriate to make an over-the-top step card, so I have made a peaceful card with butterflies for Virginia. I miss- read the challenge translation – my brain remembered flowers, blue and butterflies. On checking a few details I discovered too late, that the flowers were supposed to be blue (not the paper). No cookies for me this week!! I am off to post this now, I suspect with Christmas mail it might take a bit longer than usual.
No funny story this week, just a wish that you and your loved ones stay safe and happy. Big hugs, Susie xxx

Susie, so sorry for your loss! I will be happy to see 2013 leave and hope 2014 arrive, as we lost my husbands sister to cancer and on his birthday, 2 cousins and 2 friends of my husband. Your card is elegant on so sweet with all the die cuts used to make a great card as usual!
