I combined 3 challenges today. I loved the papers in today's IC, Hollenders. My inspiration came from this Iris Nevins marbled paper. It reminded me of the shaving cream background, so I decided to make a mess, using Real Red & Garden Green re-inkers. It also looked like it was wavey & crimped mine.
GailMN is also our newly crowned Queen. What a gorgeous gallery to peruse. I could case many, but as my 'option' is doing the first, I went with this cute, Plum Purdy first upload. I used a bigger image changing the layout, but I kept the scallope edge. Gail used dp, I made my own. CONGRATULATIONS Gail on being the newest Royal. You are deserving to be 'in the family'. Enjoy the cards made in your honor.
On Friday, Dawn asked that we use a bit of holly greenery on our cards. While searching for a holly stamp, I came across this old (1997) Northwoods stamp that had never been used. Several years ago a co-worker of my DD gave her a huge boxfull of stamps knowing that I stamped. There were some awesome finds in that box! Ayway, since there's lots of holly on this water pump I inked it up. I colored with SU WCW crayons & blender pens. I didn't think it would look too good against this handmade background but it think it's fine.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and..
thanks for stopping by.

Water is always inspiring to me, and the marbling in the paper just made me think about bubbles. So your lovely inspired design is a beautiful interpretation! Thanks for joining us and taking the challenge today!
