Today, for IC inspiration, Audrie took us to a fabulous webstore called Hollander's. They have a TON of gorgeous printed and handmade papers, as well as, all sorts of other wonderful items. I browsed for a long time and kept finding more and more items that brought ideas for cards to mind. Among the colors on the paper that inspired my card for Sue, are reds, pinks, cream, and browns. The colors immediately reminded me of some RAK Prima paper I had. I wondered what my newest SU background stamp, in the color cherry cobbler, would look like on it?!? I colored the stems and added line work to the leaves with old olive. Used gold liquid pearls for flower centers. I like the way it turned out.
As I mentioned above, my card is for Sue, who is battling cancer for the second time. This cancer is affecting her kidneys and I believe she recently started treatments. Sue is the cousin of fellow Teapotter Jan (Precious Kitty). The sentiment on my card reads:
"Thank God for what you have, Trust God for what you need."
Sue made it through her first battle with cancer and it is my hope and prayer that she will make it through once again. I hope this card will let her know I care and that my message will encourage her.
This card is also for last Thursday's WT which was to stamp and color on book print, music, etc.
Thanks for looking!

LOVE your creation, you've combined some of my favs the designer paper, the stamp set and how could anyone go wrong with cheery cobbler? Especially enjoyed your infusion of the three, thanks so much for sharing with us!
