I made this yesterday, but I'm still having to share DH's laptop and didn't get to upload until now. This meets the CAS Red and White Challenge as well as the TLC Sparkle and Emboss. I had seen http://www.zulily.com/p/red-white-dr...s on Pinterest and it inspired the direction of my card. I started by cutting a scallop edge on my Real Red base. I laid the leftover cut strip on the edge of my white piece & used it as a placement guide for my die so that the scallops would line up correctly. I ended up gluing another strip of red below the scallop so it would stand up straight and also because I needed to put a white panel for writing on the inside of the card. I stamped my leaves in Whisper White craft ink then sprinkle on a mix of white ep and glitter before embossing. I stamped my flowers in Real Red. I tied on my Organza bow. I laid some sticky strip pieces down on my mat and placed my rolled ribbon rose onto it. I had to add a couple of mini glue dots to keep the center together. My sentiment is stamped in white.

This would be a beautiful card without that bow. WITH that bow it is a gorgeous card! Love the sparkle of your embossed leaves and the satiny shine of your bow. Love it!
