Hello my very creative and crafty friends! I wanted to share my first Christmas project for this season because they are just so simple to make and are packed with a fresh, country charm. These jars make for pretty holiday home decor or for giving as a homemade gift! It's easy to see that I simply took some glass jars and filled with a variety of festive trimmings and goodies (these here are from Joann's fabrics--they have lots of different little decorations and fun things for $1 or less each). Some raffia or pretty ribbon tied around the jars rim finishes these beautifully. And if you want to make it even more special, put a little fake candle in the base of the jar for evening illumination! Now my bird cage was just a very lucky find at a thrift store a few weeks ago-I got it for $3.00--so always keep your eyes peeled for a unique find like this when you're out n about shopping! I hope you like my altered jars and thanks for taking a peek! Perhaps you are inspired to make some too!!
