On Sunday, ODBD revealed the new December release, and the Design Team created gorgeous projects! I hope youÂ’ll check out some of the beauties theyÂ’ve created!
This week’s Shining the Light challenge is Double Embossing. I used an image from the new Ornate Borders and Flowers set and decided to color the frame. Then I ink embossed the background (for a faux letterpress look) and heat embossed the sentiment for a wedding card. Added ribbon and one of the pretty flowers that Sabrina Jackson (one of our Design Team members) sent me. She has the sweetest style using what I call “bitty flowers” with lace and pearls, and I think it worked okay for my first card using one. (But it’s nothing like Sabrina’s beauties!)

Hello sweet friend!! Your card is gorgeous!! I just love the soft embossed background, the frame colored to perfection framing that meaningful verse, and your beautiful seam binding flower detail. Stunning as always!! Hugs!
