I drew Christmas lights on this saguaro cactus. This is for a French couple who recently vacationed in Arizona. They showed me tons of photos of saguaros! I put liquid pearls on top to make it look like snow, and glitter on the lights.

Love it, Sophie....I lived in Phoenix, AZ for a year and this is actually what they do at Christmas...decorate the Saguaro's! One wealthy neighborhood had hangers attached to their houses (near a private airport)....they pulled their airplanes out and adorned them. What a fun Christmas that was...thanks for the memories.

Love this! As a native Texan, I love southwest images. I have some Christmas light covered cowboy boot images, but no cactus. Love the colors you used, too.

Really like your Southwestern take for a Christmas card, Sophie. If one thinks about it, Christ was born in a more desert-like environment than a snowy forest! : )
