This looks like an easy card but it actually took me forever. Mainly because (and this is a testament to the SU cardstock) I was trying to use Non-SU card stock and background paper and it basically all went wrong. When I cut my images loose from the yucky stuff, I adhered to the SU card stock --- it looks much better. I was going for a monochromatic look but used the white so you could read the sentiment on the front and to the white mulberry paper to soften the square-layered image. I used my new Fiskars texturizing templates and tool (not sure about these yet). I used direct to paper to make the background image stand out a little more. It is supposed to be lace but it doesn't look that IRL either. The main image was stamped first in VersaMark, then in Pretty in Pink, and then I used Heat and Set powder, used my heat gun, then sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the Image. I used my Many Thanks set for the sentiment on the outside and the inside where I used the stamp that says "...for always being there for listening and for your love and understanding" which I thought was perfect for my mom's Mother's Day card.
