I gave my daughter a small dollar bin cross stitch kit in her Christmas stocking a few years ago. She wanted it made into a card and so years later here it is! The card base is dry embossed and the tag is heat embossed. The twine is fastened with ZOTS into a little loop. The cross stick was stretched around a square of CS and adhered with a ATG. The card is square.

Awesome! Counted cross stitch was my LOVE until I found stamping!! Now I hardly do it. I just found a piece I did in 1988(!!) and framed it up for my very pregnant niece for Christmas. You have given me an excellent idea for some small pieces I've finished already!

Ann, this is GORGEOUS! Combining the work of two talented ladies. The cross-stitch panel really makes it a VERY special card with meaning for both of you. Love it!

Oh, very pretty...love the cross-stitching. Your fleur de lis is so pretty as is the embossing folder. Your daughter will be proud. :-)
