The flourish frame on the pen was what inspired me the most. So I created a shaped card by using the largest Fleur De Lis rectangle on a folded piece of black cardstock (leaving the edge of the die hanging over so it does not cut all the way through which results in a hinge for the card). Then I used the smaller shapes for the rest, die cut a flower to put the embellishment on and voila all done! As a final touch I added those really tiny pearls to the edges of the base, and covered the back of the card with a full die cut shape. Inside the smaller rectangle is cut out on brushed silver cardstock to have a place to handwrite (with a fountain pen of course) a sentiment. (smiles)
I just love those Frosted Finishes embellishments - this one worked beautifully as the focal point because it my own interpretation of the top of the pen cap.
Enjoy!
