For my first type of feather, I created a cut file for two feather shapes and then I used acrylic paints to get a wash over them before I stamped a text background stamp. Then a few colors dotted on with bubble wrap for fun. After that I used white gesso and a dry brush to create the barb of the feather.
Some fun and fragile handmade paper is carefully painted and stamped with bubble wrap for the background.
For my second feather I added a handmade craft felt feather stamp in the corner of the background paper and then repeated it through the sentiment with watermark ink.
