Now that I'm looking, this seems sort of gaudy. Hmm. I punched both sides of the white CS with EK Succes Border punch. and glued it on the red CS. The green is a scrap donated to my stamping group. Glued that on too.
Inked the edges of the white with Ranger Distressed red and stamped All Night Media music stamp on top over the candle which had already been stamped. Used spellbinders Petite oval die to cut the candle glow. Flame is colored with copies.

Love your take on the sketch! I have this stamp which I love but find difficult to use. The way you have framed it with that great border punch and the green DP really lets it shine as a brush painting. I always think it looks best as a simple black image. Great card!

It's unanimous on that awesome image with the music stamped over it! Love the highlighting of the candle flame and the papers! I do have to agree with other, not gaudy at all- Love the festive look of this!

hey, anytime you can get to very different cards from the same image you've hit a home run in my book!
