I chose to make a card with "Embossing Resist " and followed Beate's tutorial : Embossing Resist Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
The stamps I used are from the SU set "Gently Falling".
For the leaves I used distress ink : Peeled paint-Tattered rose and Wild honey.
The sentiment " Special Birthday " is a stamp from Hero Arts stamped with Distress embossing Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
I stamped some oak tree leaves and acorns with Memento "rich cocoa", embossed them with clear embossing powder and colored them with the same colors.

Using embossing resist is a great idea for adding a white sentiment to a card - I HATE trying to emboss with white EP. I'm definitely going to remember this! Lovely sponging, too - and I really like the extra leaves and acorns. I think we've really moved into winter here, lovely to see some autumn colour in the gallery.

That sentiment dead centre is just beautiful encased in the circle of leaves. We love seeing your art and are very thankful that you have taken time to visit.
