Wow, Sabrina...I am so excited about really getting my fingers inky on several of the techniques you offer today for the WT. I picked Joseph's Coat for my first one and directly to the tutorial. It was actually fun!!!
Once I have the paper prepared, then I could design the card around the bold, very bold embossed panel.
Isn't this a great sentiment? We just have to give ourselves permission to imagine...I was right in the middle of thinking this one up when my dear sweet &d brought the Yogi tea quote to me (fresh from a cuppa of tea he'd been drinking) and said: 'here Mom, another idea for your cards'. WHO knew????? Inspiration takes wings ANYWHERE!
Thanks so much for stopping by, do tell me what you think of the big bow~knot...it's certainly a stretch for me!
Vero!

I LOVE the big bow - I LOVE everything about your card! But of course I have never not LOVED a single card you have made. This one is super stunning though. So positive, so affirming and soooooo true. The fact that the tea message worked is even better. Fun stuff here my friend. Miss ya! Hugz!

Super striking card, Susan. Not familiar with your embossing technique....will have to look it up. Your sentiment is wonderful. As to the "bow", I would call it a "knot", which IMO, is better than a bow on this card.

The big bow is gorgeous! So are the warm, rich colours in your beautiful panel and the serendipitous tea quote - perfect with the sentiment.
I'm going to try this one again - the one I botched with my mix of white and clear EP will actually work well on a card, but since it's my 3rd attempt at this technique over the years I'm determined to succeed with it as it should be, and not just a successful failure.

Now this is by far my favorite card in the gallery today....LOVE your bg and the sentiment is awesome. Your great big ribbon is simply outstanding and the staples were the perfect touch. Definitely awesome!!! And I do believe we need to give ourselves permission to imagine! TFS
