Yes, indeed, this SC has plenty of layers and challenge today. It was hard for me to wrap my brain around how to work with them, though I really like the different shapes. Thanks Ally and all the beautiful card makers!
I did fiddle with the placement of the pieces today, just like a good puzzle...that you have to turn into the shape comes into focus...and I built this card from the middle out with the wonderful ornate TH edge in place of the scallops. I dry embossed two layers, the large bottom base with the Card Post folder that has Paris at the very bottom, and the mustard layer has the vintage floral scroll. In place of the large square, I made a narrow frame square to keep the mustard showing. The bag is a PSX image from 2001. I just adore coming across stamps at thrift stores, don't you? It was inked with black and them embossed with Midas Platinum. The banner quote from Emerson:
Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.
How much truth is contained within that thought! That's why I keep my bags slightly ajar...I'm gonna stuff every kind of beauty I come across into my traveling bags.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you'll be filled to overflowing with the beauty that surrounds you.

This is a wonderful card with quite an inspiring message.

what a great color combo. I love your striped border on the sides and the embossing is perfect, but my favorite part is the decorative brad. Great card.
