This week our cards are headed off to wish Evelyn, the mother of Anne (jdmommy) a very Happy Birthday. Evelyn lives with her daughter, Anne, and since she is of a mature age, a lot of Evelyn's friends are no longer alive. Evelyn misses not receiving correspondence, so here come the Teapotters to the rescue. I somehow have the feeling that Anne's mailbox is going to be inundated with birthday cards for Evelyn.
Evelyn used to have a beautiful garden, full of flowers of every color, so we're to bring flowers that are not white, and especially irises.
I've brought the irises. This is an old (1984) PSX stamp
that has been stamped on a little oval and colored. Not that you can see it here, but I've used my yellow glitter gel pen to color the throats of the irises, just like the real flowers. It is mounted on the beautiful Marianne Creatables fan.
The Happy Birthday oval has been sponged with the colors of the irises.
White ribbon streamers have a glass bead spacer on each ribbon.
I wish Evelyn the Happiest Birthday ever!

Oh my goodness, is this ever special - I don't think I've ever seen a fan like this, it's so intricate and beautifully detailed! Your little irises on ovals fan out to give a LOVELY garden effect, Jennifer. I know Anne's dear Mum will treasure it!

I have never seen this die before Jennifer, but it is fantastic, and you have used it perfectly. Great choice of colors, with the gray and cream making the flowers stand out.
