I'm way overdue sending out this birthday card for our previous pastor's 60th birthday. I had this scrap piece on my desk with the green stamping and the stamped off cars. I added the rough texture in grey and black and sponged some Soft Suede along the edges. I framed with Artichoke and added the black along the bottom edge as my image piece wasn't quite long enough. My "metal" piece is a piece of chipboard with some wire mesh on the base then the chipboard numbers glued over that. I then covered with foil tape (heat duct tape). I used my stylus to define the edges and mesh better (the tape holds up to this a whole lot better than plain foil!)and to add the faux nail points on the numbers. I then sponged on some black paint and when it was dry added some gold paint highlights as well. I embossed my sentiment in a mix of ep and added the screwhead brads.
