I saw a video on Pinterest using gesso instead of embossing for a resist technique. I used a large collage stamp (Hampton Arts) and stamped the gesso onto the blank tag. Allow to dry. Then I watered down the distress inks and applied. Allow to dry. I stamped the main image (the cardinal) first and then added the holly and berries stamp (Northwoods) a little above and some to the side and below the main image. I colored the images with Copic markers and sponged the edges with more TH peeled paint. I cut out the sentiment from the MME DP and added the ribbon.
How come the older I get the more time it takes to get less done? Have a great week!

This tag is absolutely gorgeous!!!! Great technique, lots of steps... I think that it is absolutely great the way you have incorporated the two stamps together to make it them so seamlessly.... Beautiful!!
