My tribute to the great Jimi Hendrix. OMG, I think this might be him on stage at Woodstock. "Actin' funny, but I don't know why. 'Scuse me while I kiss the sky."LOL This is what happens when listening to classic rock on the radio and you hear a song that sparks an idea. LOL
Mini shrine submission for the Day Of The Dead art swap over at Retro Café Art. The shrine is a kit and comes together easily with a little white glue. I used Inka Gold Violet to paint the exterior. I love this product. It reminds me of a paste with a beeswax base, but also acts like a paint if you add a drop of water. I was able to apply with just my finger and also able to smooth with a paint brush. Very fun stuff that you can buff to a shiny finish.
Jimi is a large metal charm that I had in my stash. I embellished him with the Inka Gold Violet and added long hair and a headband. He dangles from the ceiling and rocks back and forth with just a little giggle. Basically, he's ready to Rock at any moment day or night. He loves playing that guitar. LOL
The "Haze" - LOL I've had this stuff in my stash for years. Although it doesn't show well in the photo, the fibers are very fine and sparkly.
I hope you enjoyed the Purple Haze experience with Jimi. LOL
