This is for today's teapotter challenge. MMTPT276.
The tea party is headed to Hibbing, Minnesota to Peggy. Peggy is the mother of Foxy67's son's girlfriend. Peggy has recently had surgery and will be starting chemo & radiation soon.
Challenge Translation:
Bring country scenes, farms, nature, lakes ... anything that you'd love to see on a country drive.
The cabin image is from Beccy's Place (digital image) I added the two tress on the right side and the ducks flying overhead (from Victorine orginals) and the sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps (everyday jar-gon) I coloured image with Stamin up, Tombow and copic markers. Added the leaves in the trees and on the ground (water colour minis) and sponged in the clouds using Soft Sky Ink). Matted image with burgundy and black cardstock. Sewed edges. Punched out the photo corners and glued on with crystal effects. Added crystal effects on top of the corners for a glossy look.
This image reminds me of a rustic country cabin by a lake...
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

Great cabin! I can't believe the detail you put in the woodpile and the outhouse even looks halfway inviting. This reminds me of a cabin we had at Lake Winnipeg when I was growing up. Fabulous Pat!

I love all your trees and the "out" building! You have made such a fun scene for Peggy. Love those corners and of course your fabulous stitching. Hugs, my friend.

Awesome!!! I love this main image and that you've captured the feel of a cloudy day on the lake. All of the little details that you added make this scene so lifelike and inviting....and you brought loons!! Beautidul card, so perfect for Peggy. Thanks for coming to Peggy's Teaparty, get those extra cookies that those birds earned you. Hugz from New Jersey.

OH this is such a beautiful scene! I want to be there, I do! Especially with that wonderful pile of already chopped wood--time to stoke the fire and refill my cuppa cocoa! Peggy will love this for sure! TFS your lovely creation! xoxo

Love how it looks framed already. Great images and coloring. Reminds me of when I was young and stayed at grandparents place with the outhouse. Cute card.
