This might just be my personal favorite of all the challenges for HYCCT. With CAKath's challenge to use punches or dies to create something special, I knew I would 'sew' a corset card. The template is from Sara Sandberg. I most of all wanted to make something very feminine to perhaps lift the spirits of someone whose confidence could use a boost!
I actually cut into a piece of My Mind's Eye Lush flocked damask paper for half the corset and a shimmer white for the other side. The shimmer paper was stamped with the lace KaiserCraft cling stamp and embossed with Silver Pearl. I did use 24 grommets to lace the pieces together, half black/half white. There is a brass heart tied to the very tip of the bodice. And I rummaged through my vintage laces to find a couple of special tidbits to use top and bottom. The ~Adore~ is nestled between that gorgeous damask. I had cut the sea green blue card that slips inside.
Thank you my friend, Kathy for issuing this wonderfully creative challenge. I would love to have a peak at who selects this card...just knowing someone will be lifted up it is priceless.

Susan, such an honor to see this A M A Z I N G creation in my challenge gallery. You know what this means to me and you are so generous to put so much into this. The paper choices are gorgeous and 24 grommets!!! Wow. The lacey borders are the perfect touch, especially with your signature staples... Whoever receives this will feel very special indeed. Hugs to you. Thanks for joining us.
