While this project doesn't have any stamping, it does have a paper element!!
Here's some details:
- I was fortunate enough a little over a year ago to get a free demonstration at a local store of how to use Deco Mesh to make a couple of different kinds of wreaths... now-a-days you can find tutorials on YouTube, but I enjoyed seeing it in person!
- First, I rounded the edges of the flashing shingle using a Corner Chomper
- I used Outdoor Mod Podge to adhere a piece of Pumpkin Pie DSP to a flashing shingle
- While trimming the Pumpkin Pie paper to fit, the edges got extremely jagged and messed up... Rather than redoing the whole thing, I sponged the edges with Jet Black StazOn... I also had to use a little Pumpkin Pie ink where the paper was so torn it was white... whoops!
- I cut the letters out using SU! Basic Black with the Winter Wishes dies by Lifestyle Crafts
- After the sentiment dried, I applied 4 more coats of Mod Podge
- Once the Mod Podge was dried, I punched a couple of holes in the flashing shingle with my Crop-a-dile, and attached it to the wreath using black pipe cleaners
- The mesh, ribbon and some of the decorations are from AC Moore... I also got a few of the decorations from Michaels
TFL! :-)
