This is for Kathleen's HYCCT1327 challenge Honor Your Elders. I made this card to honor my grandmother, who loved her flower beds and worked them well into her eighties. She had a lot to do with turning me into the person I am today, and I loved her dearly.
This gorgeous paper did all the work for me. The flowers are glittered; you can get just a glimpse in the photo. I added ribbon across the corners and heat embossed the sentiment before matting it and attaching with foam tape for dimension. That's it!

Beautiful Card Jody!!! The DP you used is gorgeous with those large blooms and I LOVE how you did the ribbon in each corner! Also, Your sentimentis perfect, we can all you some Hope at times! Thank you so much for sharing a little bit about your grandmother and I love hearing that she helped to make you the wonderful person you are today!!!

What a lovely card. This is a great way to honour your grandmother! And isn't it a joy to reflect on how these courageous women from previous generations have blessed us when we can recognize the treasure of their investment into us. I appreciate what you shared about her as well as I appreciate your card! TFS
