This is my card for Dina's HYCCT1325 challenge A Listening Ear - to have ears on our cards.
Around my house, my cats listen as well as my DH most of the time, so I chose this adorable image. She was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with dark brown ep. She was colored with colored pencil and a bright pink Sharpie marker for the bow.
Like you couldn't tell, the sentiment was handwritten with a brown Sharpie and traced over with a clear glaze pen, since the tip on my VersaMarker is kinda shot.
I used the Cuttlebug (Charles?) ef to emboss the front of the card base and the matching edge embosser for the sentiment. The image and sentiment are matted on dark brown, although it looks black in the pic. I added the tiny pink hearts and applied Glossy Accents to give them shine and dimension.
As always, thanks for looking!

Very cool! I love your sentiment! That embossing folder is spiffy, too. This is adorable and I would love a hug from that sweet kitty!

Pets are the best listeners... I'm among the majority of people who talk to their pets like they're people. Love your fluffy kitty image! Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge and for supporting Hope You Can Cling To!!
