For Lisa's mixed media challenge. I started about 5 cards and the others may or may not make it to MD or the internet, but I was happy with this one and I learned something from all of them! I found a coaster that only had one side printed. I'm pretty sure this coaster is over 6 years old because I have only eaten at the restaurant one time and it was to celebrate my husband's first paycheck when we moved here. Anyway. I colored it quickly with blue and green copics. Then I added blue, green, and purple gelatos and smudged them with my fingers. I added some gold paint in a few spots. I die cut the heart from the center and tucked it aside. The white layer I impressed with the PTI fine linen/canvas impression plate because it seemed a little flat. I traced the heart lightly so I knew where to stamp the sentiment then erased the lines. Added a few wooden stars and that's it.
