This is for HYCCT called Honor Your Elders to make something vintage with gold & who inspired you. I chose my 89 year old mother as she took me to my first quilting class when I was 18 years old. I'm always playing around with different fabrics so I wanted to try it with vintage papers.

Adorable Connie, fabulous way to honor your Mom. Love the quilted and pieced kitty... Years ago when I quilted, I had made a quilt with a pieced puppy and a ball.. It was so much fun to make and I ended up selling it last year... Love the buttons for the eyes and fun sentiment... Great job on this my dear

Love that you step outside the box with this and bring the patchwork technique into papercrafting. I know a ton of ladies who would adore this card with cats AND quilting.
