I loved the gorgeous purple sky and card design of featured stamper Cathy Tidwell aka catdidit's card here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=158638
Also for the Mix39 watercoloring, and Central theme of time: I'd love to spend time in this beautiful, peaceful place.
After sponging the sky with spun sugar, mask the moon, and sponge over again with various pale purples. Mask & sponge the mountains in purples. sponge pale green right down to the bottom, then sponge in green hills.
Color the bridge & tree stamps with distress markers, huff & stamp. Outline the images with the distress markers if needed, then use water & aqua brush to color in, picking up more color from the markers or ink pads for intensity.
Lay some light blue ink on an acrylic block, spritz, and with the aqua brush create a stream ( I masked the streamed area to help me). Some of the underneath green will show thru the blue water - thats good.
Sponge or watercolor a few mounds going down to the waters edge to fit in with the stream design.
Stamp the cherry blossoms in the sky area & color as before. Stamp a gain on scrap, trim the blossoms, adhere over the branches, add glossy accents.
