The person I wanted to honor was my Grandfather. He really helped make Christmases special as he got older. He was always happy to eat a home cooked meal and comment about it. He also could be silly and full of fun. While opening presents one year this 96 year old put a bow from his present on his nose and posed for everyone. That's one of my favorite special Christmas memories. My Grandfather and I had a friend/friend relationship which was wonderful. I got to see a side of him no one else saw.
I stamped the pine around the edges and middle then added the ornaments. The ornaments were made by putting the Christmas washi tape on white cardstock, then cutting it out with the ornaments framelits. I used the layer ease to trace around the ornament then cut out the silver paper. I cut out the tops of the ornaments with the framelits then drew lines on them. Next I poked a hole in each ornament and added the wire hooks that I made from some of my crafting wire. I embossed the red base with the holly embossing folder and put it all together.
