Yah, finally another card for HYCCT, I'm way behind but I've still done lots more than last year.
This challenge is called cover-up and is hosted by Sabrina aka Cook22. I have been watching the gallery and no one had thought of doing the flower pot so I was please and then Kittie did her marvelous one but I was committed to doing mine so here it is.
This is a fairly simple card with a lot of fiddly copic blending (which I love)
I divided the Smoky Slate card stock into three even portions measuring the whole thing up so that it would fit inside an A2 envelop then cut at an angle from 1.5 cm in from the bottom on both sides. I put sticky strips down each side of the front two panels and left the third free as the lean and also for some one to write on. With some of the left over card stock I made a rim fro the pot and put some SU Blushing Bride ribbon.
I made a "T" shape to put the quote on making sure it would fit inside the card and then glued the geraniums to the top bar of the "T" colouring them first.
Last but not least I put the mini rhinestones into the centers of the flowers.
Thanks for a great challenge Sabrina and thank you all fro looking.

I haven't seen Kittie's yet - it wasn't there when I checked the gallery yesterday. Yours is beautiful - I love the clean feel to the white "pot", and the geraniums are so pretty, even more so with the bling. What a lovely cover-up card, Marg - thanks for adding such a beauty to the gallery.
