For Kathleen's HYCCT1327 Challenge: Honor Your Elders...with gold bonus -- and Featured Stamper Challenge 351. Congratulations to Cathy! I love her work and there are SO many I want to case. Thank you for all the inspiration, Cathy, and enjoy your week!
I chose this beautiful card as my inspiration to case. I kept Cathy's three panels, but changed mine to banners and moved them over to the left (hers was a sketch card and I changed the layout). Her DP reminded me of flowers, so I added one in the corner. Instead of the scallop border with pearls, I added a trio in the corner of my sentiment. I also changed colors and images and made my card with fewer layers.
I started my card by cutting the three banners from Bo Bunny's Silver and Gold 6x6 pad using my TE banner dies, then scoring along the bottom with my Scor-Tool. I added Parrot Green Velvet ribbon, along with May Arts Gold Wired Beads for a fun look with my Prima Le Mia flower.
The sentiment is from Just Rite's Christmas Vintage Labels Four stamp set and is stamped using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I cut it out using Spellbinders Matting Basics B and then popped up using 3D Foam Squares. I also scored down the right side of the sentiment rectangle. A trio of Pearl Kaisercraft Pearls accents the sentiment.
All supplies (except banner dies) are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
This card is for an older friend who has helped me recently with the loss of my mom. She also lost her mom recently (102!) and has been a source of experience and empathy.
Accessories: Parrot Green Velvet Ribbon and Gold Wired Beads (May Arts), Le Mia White Flower (Prima), Banner dies (TE), Pearl Pearls (Kaisercraft), Matting Basics B (SB)

First (hug) I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I so appreciate your willingness to share. Just as your friend helps you, by YOU sharing this beautiful card and your story, you help others too! LOVE the gold threading with the balls as trimming! Extra points for you Judy!
