I borrowed this idea from Michaels and used Halloween-themed Washi tape in a variety of patterns to create this background. Even better, my local Michaels had them on clearance, so I picked up quite a few!
As you can see, itÂ’s really easy to make an interesting background by layering the tapes at different angles. Since itÂ’s tape, you donÂ’t have to worry about adhering them; plus you can tear the ends and fold them under the black card stock layer.
Keeping it even easier, I found these cute Martha Stewart Halloween embellishments from last yearÂ’s stash. I adhered everything to an orange card base from Bazzill.
You can’t see it here, but on the inside I pinned an adorable mini flair button that says, “Candy Monster,” in the lower corner. I think my niece in Memphis will like it!
What do you think? What are you making for Halloween?
Thanks for looking!
