For today's sketch. I had a roadblock with this one; found it to be quite a challenge and not one of my favorites. I stamped the image in Basic Brown then water colored and sponged the edges. I also sponged the snowflake's edges too. Each of the red borders is dp. I tried a solid center panel, ribbon, switching different dp's, but nothing seemed to look right so I went with the same dp as the bg. Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

Roberta, what a beautiful Sidekick Christmas card... Love the gorgeous DP in those gorgeous rich colours... also love the wonderful sentiment with the beautiful Christmas tree beside it, the sponging and the lovely punched snowflake at the top.... great job on the challenge... love it...

Oh but Roberta, it's a beautiful card! It's a great use of the sketch and your papers are so lovely. I liked the way you used the same paper for all the panels - I wouldn't think to do that, and it instantly gives a less ' busy' feel to the card.
