CC449 - OLD COBBLERS SAND... 10/22/13 by Karen B Barber
OLD OLIVE, CHERRY COBBLER, SAHARA SAND
AND FOR DESSERT - GET OUT the DISTRESSING TOOLS
Karen I wish I had more imagination to make something other than a Christmas card but I love making Christmas cards and I love your color choices!
I glued an old Economics book page to card stock and die cut Tim Holtz Holly and branch. I sponged with Distress inks peeled paint, fired brick and walnut stain. The background is partially stamped with Penny Black “Letter Background” in white using a Faber-Castell PITT White artist pen directly to stamp. The splatter is from a Wink of Stella White shimmer Brush pen and Cloud White VersaMagic was used around the distressed edges.
Thanks for taking a peek! Two Months Two Days til Christmas!

You used so many techniques that I love on this card! Love those holly leaves with the print, the sponging, splatters and I particularly love your work with white inks! This is fabulous and went right in to my favorites!
