We are taking our birthday girl this week at the t-party to Hawaii....she is 104, so will be a big surprise for her...read the story in tuesdays challenge...very cool...will ahve to learn how to link that.
I had a crafting block, and just couldnt think of what to do , so finally went with a stamp that I have that is the closest to the hawiian orchids, so our birthday girl can pick these from her garden and make a lei...I even sneaked a kitty that was playing in the garden and chasing that lil butterfly.
I stamped and water colored and for the first time tried distressing, as my mom gave me this neat tool...was fun...like the softer look that gives. I will have to put Happy birthday inside as my one birthday stamp is too big adn the others too small...lol...go figure...lol. WAs going to keep this square, but when iI found the dp it had the cute lil birdie on the corner, and had to keep him aboard...he was busy watching the kitty chase the butterfly and having fun.
Added the lace and black pearls to finish it...thanks for the visit..." ALOHA "

LOL if this is what you create when you are having a crafting block, I can't imagine what you create on a good day!! Everything here is beautiful, I love it all. Extra cookies for you Wendy you managed to bring a kitten. Hope he hasn't spotted the bird yet. Hehe.
